A board-certified adult nurse practitioner (CANP), Floy Haschke earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University. She has more than 25 years of experience as an adult nurse practitioner, in both inpatient post-acute settings and outpatient clinical settings, caring for adults with acute, complex, and chronic illnesses.

As director of quality for Paragon, she collaborates with the medical director, VP of clinical affairs, and the management team. She provides didactic and clinical orientations for new Paragon nurse practitioners, serving as preceptor and mentor. She functions as a consultant for company nurse practitioners. She manages, coordinates, and conducts chart audits for quality assurance. Her previous positions at Paragon included team leader and senior nurse practitioner.

Floy is involved in the NIU mentoring program for both undergraduate and graduate students. She is also active in NIU Alumni Association scholarship fundraising programs. Floy is a member of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nurses.
